    2002年12月3日，李岚清和吴仪在国际展览局132次大会上用英文发言。李岚清在最后讲道，“Holding the World Expo in China is also the long-cherished dream of more than 1.2 billion Chinese people. I sincerely hope that you will help us make that dream come true. I can assure you that eight years from now, we will present you with a great World Expos in China.”
