Subo parts need a touch of work
SUSAN BOYLE has the perfect singing voice – but she’s not quite there with her luvvie accent.
The lassie with the big hits and hairy chassis is in festive movie The Christmas Candle, out in November.
She recently had to re-do parts of the dialogue because her accent was too strong.
Susan said: “My Scottish accent was a bit thick in places, so I had to re-record some of my lines so you wouldn’t need subtitles. Note to self – must enunciate more!”
The extra work for SuBo meant that she missed Scotland’s 3-2 defeat to England at Wembley earlier this month.
She said: “I worked ’til late in the evening so I missed the game.
“Scotland lost, but never mind. Better luck next time, boys.”
SuBo may not have got the result she wanted. But at least she got to meet one of Scotland’s finest strikers not long afterwards.
Susan said: “I’ve been out for dinner with friends.
“My particular favourite was the Ho Wong Chinese in Glasgow and we even saw ALLY McCOIST there as well.”
